Karthi in talks for Siruthai 2

Karthi, whose last release was Alex Pandian, has made it clear that he will not be acting for the sake of awards. The actor said that he was open to doing any kind of character and believed that the accolades that he receives from the audience would be more than enough to the actor, rather than receiving an award or trophy.

Karthi is currently shooting for Rajesh's All in All Azhagu Raja in Pollachi district and has revealed that he has discussed the possibility of a sequel to Siruthai with the director of the original, Siva. Siva, on the other hand is busy with the shoot for his next film with Ajith.

In the meantime, Karthi has wrapped up the shoot for Venkat Prabhu's Biriyani and the trailer of the film is expected to hit screens soon.

Suriya impresses Ramki

Actor Ramki, who has many impressive films to his credit including Irattai Roja and Vishwanathan Ramamurthy is all set to make a comeback in Tamil cinema. The veteran actor will be seen in Biriyani, Maasani  and Vaaymai.

Ramki had recently stated that he envied the six-pack star Suriya among the current generation and was taken aback by the hard work he put into his work, especially to sculpt his body according to the needs of his characters. The actor is now all set to play villains in his comeback film and he intends to continue acting without taking any more breaks. He will be paired opposite Ineya in Maasani.
