The release of Saradha Ramanathan's second film, Puthiya Thiruppangal starring Nandha and Andrea in the lead has been fixed. This thriller will hit the screens on May 17th, along with Alphonse Putharen's Neram. National-Award-winning cinematographer Madhu Ambat has teamed up with Saradha Ramanathan once again for this project, which is based on child-trafficking.
The film has music by Vidyasagar and the songs have been penned by Na Muthukumar. The film was initially titled Thiruppangal but was later renamed as Pudhiya Tiruppangal.
The film is going to be a hard hitting film as it tackles the subject of child trafficking but commercial elements have been woven in as well. It is said that the lead pair has great chemistry and the film has shaped up very well.
